In the midst of all these different products showing women what we can add on to ourselves to be perfect, Dove stands out by empowering us to take pride in who we already are. How? By helping us enhance what we already have, rather than searching elsewhere for something that we don’t. With this in mind, I did not hesitate to say yes when they asked me to be one of the ambassadors for their summer campaign, #DoveSummerReady. It’s a known fact that we ladies try our best to keep our underarms flawless, especially in the summer when they aren’t at all that hidden. However, did you know that everything we do to our underarms (waxing, plucking, shaving) actually irritates them and may cause them to get darker? The #DoveSummerReady campaign endeavors to help women change that.
In high spirits, my fellow ambassadors and I came together on a crisp day in Manila to launch the campaign. Along with the guests, we learned how Dove deo keeps our underarms clean and fresh, and we enjoyed the many activities Dove prepared for all of us. The best thing about the campaign is without a doubt the #DoveSummerReady promo, which I sadly am not allowed to join.
